Adamawa state government has commiserated with the families of the recent victims of Lamurde local Government Area crisis and assured them Government will fish our those behind the crisis.
The Deputy Governor, Professor Kaletapwa Farauta made the disclosure, shortly after security meeting with the state service commanders on Thursday.
Professor Farauta urged the warring factions to sheath their sword in the interest of peace.
She appreciated security agencies for their swift intervention in dusting the crisis, adding that normalcy is gradually returning to the area.
According to her, proper security measures and reenforcement have been provided in the affected communities to restore law and order.
She noted that government has settled medical bills for victims who receiving medical care at the hospital.
She reiterated government to continue to engage with citizens on peace building and initiatives for meaningful change and development.
The deputy governor also advocated for factual and accurate reportage from both conventional and non conventional media, tasking them to bee wary of misleading information which is counterproductive.
It could be recalled that chobo and Bachama people of Lamurde local government clash leading to lives lost, houses burnt.
