The state Chairman, Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Alhaji Hamza Bello Madagali has described football sport as unifying tool for Nigeria youths irrespective of region or tribal affiliations.
Alhaji Madagali gave the indication during final of Gangwari’s Cup Football Competition sponsored by retired Air Vice Marshal, Dahiru Sanda held at the Gangwari Square.

The PDP Chairman explained that the importance of unity among Nigeria youths cannot be over emphasized, and organizing football competition would foster unity among diverse communities in Adamawa.
Alhaji Madagali commended sponsor for sponsoring the competition and urged him to maintain the posture and called on youths to venture into sporting activities in order to build their potential future.

In his remark, Gangwarin Ganye, Umar Adamu Sanda said the aimed of competition is to promote peace and unity in Ganye Chiefdom.
The Gangwari Ganye while congratulating the winner of the competition, called on those who lost to redouble their efforts in subsequent competition, described the sponsor as true son of Ganye chiefdom and thanked him sponsoring the competition.
Speaking the sponsor of the competition, retired Air Vice Marshal Dahiru Sanda expressed delight with the tournament and called on youths to desist from idleness rather than engage themselves into football games.
There were goodwill messages from various dignitaries including Chairman Ganye Local Government Area, Faruk Mohammed.
